Who we are

Mushroom Marketplace SL operates an online marketplace connecting verified mushroom growers in Sri Lanka with buyers. We are not the seller of the produce listed; growers are, and each order is a contract between you and that grower.

Orders and pricing

Prices are set by growers and shown in Sri Lankan rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery is quoted separately by district at checkout.

An order is confirmed when the grower accepts it. If a grower cannot fill an accepted order, you are refunded in full and we will offer an alternative where one exists.

Freshness and returns

Harvest information shown on a listing is supplied by the grower and verified by spot checks. If produce arrives in poor condition, notify us with a photograph within four hours of delivery for a refund or replacement.

Because fresh produce is perishable, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns once a delivery has been completed.

Seller obligations

Sellers must hold current verification, list accurate harvest information, and maintain the cold-chain standards assessed at their farm visit. Verification may be suspended or withdrawn for sustained poor ratings or misrepresentation.

What data we collect

We collect the details you give us when you order or request a quote — name, contact details and delivery address — and use them only to fulfil that order and to contact you about it.

We do not sell personal data. Growers receive only the details needed to deliver your order.

Cookies and local storage

Your cart is stored in your own browser rather than on our servers. We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand which pages people find useful.
