Function catering runs on a brutal timeline, and mushrooms are usually the item somebody is still chasing on the Friday. The bulk request flow exists to compress that.

You submit one request — variety, quantity, the date and time you need it on site, the venue location and any notes. It goes to every verified seller with the capacity and the delivery range to serve it.

Sellers respond with a firm quote: price per kilo, the total, whether it is cut to order or from stock, and a delivery window. You compare those side by side rather than ringing round.

Most requests get their first quote within the hour during business days. Anything for a date more than three days out is usually cut to order, which means a function order is often fresher than a retail one.
