A verified badge is not a formality. Here is exactly what a grower has to show us before they can take an order on the platform.

Anyone can call themselves a mushroom farmer. The verification badge exists so you do not have to take that on faith, and so the growers doing it properly are not undercut by the ones who are not.
Every seller submits three things before they can list: proof of the grow site, a business or national identity record, and photographs of the packing area. A member of our team then visits the farm — in person, not over a video call — and walks the grow rooms.
We check substrate handling, water source, cold-chain equipment and how quickly cut stock moves from the room to a chiller. A farm that cannot keep cut mushrooms below 8°C cannot make a same-day promise, so we do not let them advertise one.
Verification is not permanent. We re-visit every seller annually, and any seller with a sustained rating below 4.0 or repeated freshness complaints is re-reviewed early. Badges get removed. That is the point of them.
